Elon Musk reportedly believes AI could make more money than SpaceX. But how good is his new Grok AI agent when you actually use it?
I signed up and put Grok’s new agent technology to work. I’ve already tested ChatGPT, Codex, Claude, OpenClaw, Manus, Perplexity Computer, Base44, DeepSeek, Claude and plenty of other AI tools, spending serious money trying to discover what actually works.
In this video I give my first-hand verdict on Grok, its $300-a-month price, the potentially huge cost of running AI agents, and why I’m not yet convinced the economics stack up.
I also look at the bigger SpaceX investment story, the recent share-price bounce, Elon Musk’s AI ambitions and the surprisingly quiet arrival of X Money. Could Musk be building the long-promised X “everything app”, combining AI, payments, cryptocurrency, social media and eventually his enormous space business?
AI agents are developing incredibly quickly. Some are brilliant. Some are expensive. Some work beautifully until suddenly they don’t. But the leverage AI can provide is already extraordinary.
SpaceX, Grok, X Money and Elon Musk could be sitting at the intersection of several of the biggest technology trends of the next decade.
The question is what is real, what is hype, and what is actually worth paying for.
